KENDE is an online retail brand created by brother and sister duo Jojo and Dani which originally began in 2012 and then relaunched in 2020.

After a trip to the motherland- Ghana, we were influenced by our heritage and culture.

KENDE aims to blend tradition and modernity with an African twist by providing quality and valuable products to our customers showcasing the beauty in our culture. The brand was born out of our desire to showcase the wonderful prints and designs akin to our culture across the diaspora in lifestyle products.

The brand's slogan “A TRADITION OF ROYALTY” is inspired by the famous kente cloth from Ghana (which is worn as a royal cloth and is now widely known as a prestigious garment reserved for special occasions).
